Starting My New Chapter — Hello, Toronto

Leaving America after ten years felt like closing a book filled with memories, growth, and countless moments that shaped me. And just like any good story, a new chapter begins — mine started in Toronto.

Downtown Toronto welcomed me with its energy and diversity. I spent my days wandering through the city, finding famous spots that everyone talks about: Art Gallery of Ontario, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Kensington Market, The Distillery District, and St. Lawrence Market. Each place had its own vibe — creative, colorful, historic, lively. It felt good to explore again, to let curiosity guide my steps.

I missed the tour bus to Niagara Falls, but maybe that was meant to happen. The next day, I went by myself — and it turned out perfect. Mother Nature is cool in ways we forget. Getting close to the falls by boat was unforgettable. Everyone got soaked, but we were all smiling, cheering, enjoying the moment like kids. It reminded me of why I love traveling: the unexpected joy.

Before heading to Canada’s Wonderland, I took a slower weekend to enjoy the Toronto Festival. It was the perfect break — music, food, people, and that easy city energy that makes you feel like you belong, even if you just arrived.

And of course, I’m going to miss Disneyland — so I’ve decided theme parks will be part of my journey wherever I go. Canada’s Wonderland became my first stop. The roller coasters were intense, maybe too intense to ride alone, so I saved some for next time… or maybe somewhere else in the world.

I ended my Toronto trip with CN Tower and Toronto Island. I took some nice photos and videos, and on my break day before flying to Vancouver tomorrow, I put them all together — a small collection of memories marking the beginning of my new adventure.

Toronto wasn’t just a destination. It was my first step into the next part of my life.
